Host Andy Richter asks the same three questions to each guest: Where do you come from? Where are you going? What have you learned? These three simple questions, when answered honestly and thoughtfully, are enough to provide a pretty complete picture of who a person is. The answers are what Andy always wants to know about people. This will not be a one-sided process, as Andy won’t shy away from getting personal himself.
Ben Schwartz (Sonic the Hedgehog) joins Andy Richter to talk about getting started in comedy, freelance joke writing for Letterman and Weekend Update, having a strong work ethic and more.

I love the format of this show. It lets you be the “fly in the wall” to in-depth conversations with the coolest people in Hollywood IMO. It’s real, it’s relevant and it speaks to that part of me that always wanted to be a comedy writer. To be a successful comedian I always thought you had to be loud and confident and an extrovert but come to find out that’s not the case - they’re more like me than I could ever imagine.
Andy brings on guest to interview him
Andy, interview your guests and stop dominating the podcast by only talking about yourself! Ben Schwartz seemed genuinely annoyed that you were going on and on about yourself. I think all we got about Ben is that he was born in the Bronx.
