Becoming Her Part 2 — Stop Waiting for Permission to Be You | Tracey Green

Becoming Her Part 2 — Stop Waiting for Permission to Be You | Tracey Green What if the woman you're becoming is someone you've been waiting your whole life to meet? Somewhere between raising kids, building a family, supporting everyone else's dreams, and managing the endless responsibilities of life, it's easy to lose sight of the woman you once imagined becoming. But here's the beautiful thing: She's still in there. And she's not done growing. In this deeply personal Mom to Mom solo episode of the Root Cause Holistic Health Podcast, Tracey Greene returns for Part 2 of "Becoming Her", continuing the conversation about identity, motherhood, personal growth, and finding the courage to become the woman you were created to be. Because becoming her isn't about reinventing yourself overnight. It's about recognizing the parts of yourself you've put on hold, releasing the expectations that no longer fit, and choosing to move forward with purpose. In this episode, we explore: Rediscovering Your Identity: Remembering who you are beyond being a mom, wife, caregiver, or the person everyone depends on.Letting Go of Guilt: Why prioritizing your own growth doesn't mean loving your family any less.Embracing Change: Giving yourself permission to evolve, even when others are comfortable with the old version of you.Breaking Free From Expectations: Learning to stop living according to everyone else's definition of who you should be.Finding Your Confidence Again: Taking small, intentional steps toward the life you want to create.Becoming, Not Arriving: Understanding that personal growth is a lifelong journey, not a destination.Maybe you're entering a new season of motherhood. Maybe your children are growing more independent. Maybe you're looking in the mirror and wondering, "What's next for me?" Or maybe you've spent so much time showing up for everyone else that you've forgotten what it feels like to show up for yourself. This is your reminder: You are allowed to become someone new without apologizing for who you used to be. You can love the life you've built and still dream about what's ahead. You can be grateful for where you've been and excited about where you're going. And you can be an incredible mom while continuing to discover the incredible woman God created you to be. 🎧 Grab your coffee, find a quiet moment, and join Tracey for another honest, encouraging Mom to Mom conversation. Mom to Mom: Let Kids Be Kids — Stop Making Excuses for Their Bad Days

Mom to Mom: Let Kids Be Kids — Stop Making Excuses for Their Bad Days Your kid had a bad day. They got in trouble at school. They talked back. They didn't play well. They bombed the test. They lost their temper. The coach corrected them. Maybe another parent called you about something they did. What's your first reaction? Do you immediately start explaining it away? “They're tired.” “They've had a hard week.” “The teacher doesn't understand them.” “The coach was too hard on them.” “That's not like my kid.” In this Mom to Mom solo episode of the Root Cause Holistic Health Podcast, Tracey Green talks about something that's difficult for every parent: Sometimes our kids are going to have bad days—and sometimes they're simply going to make bad choices. And that's okay. Our job isn't to convince the world that our children are perfect. Our job is to help them grow into adults who can recognize when they've messed up, take responsibility, apologize, learn from it, and try again tomorrow. Tracey digs into the difference between supporting your child and rescuing your child. Of course there are times when parents need to step in and advocate. There may also be legitimate reasons behind a child's behavior that deserve attention and compassion. But understanding why something happened doesn't always mean removing responsibility for what happened. Maybe instead of immediately asking, “Who did this to my kid?”, we occasionally need to ask: “What did my kid contribute to this situation?” That's a hard question for a parent. But it can also be an incredibly important one. Childhood should be a safe place to mess up. To experience consequences. To learn humility. To discover that one bad decision doesn't make you a bad person—and that tomorrow gives you another opportunity to do better. Let kids be kids. Let them have bad days. Let them get corrected. Let them fail sometimes. Let them own their mistakes. And then love them through the process of learning how to get back up. 🎧 Grab your coffee and join Tracey for a real Mom to Mom conversation about raising kids with grace, accountability, resilience, and responsibility. Mom to Mom: If We Could Raise Our Daughter Again — A Conversation with Tracey & Tony

Mom to Mom: If We Could Raise Our Daughter Again — A Conversation with Tracey & Tony One day you're holding your little girl in your arms. Then you blink. And somehow, she's grown. In this special Mom to Mom episode of the Root Cause Holistic Health Podcast, Tracey Green isn't flying solo. Her husband, Tony, joins her for an honest conversation reflecting on one of the greatest adventures of their lives: Raising their daughter. Together, Tracey and Tony look back at the years that seemed so long while they were living them—and somehow went by far too fast. What did they get right? What would they do differently? What did they worry about that ultimately didn't matter? Were there moments they wish they had slowed down and appreciated more? And how does a marriage change as two people try to raise a daughter while they're still growing themselves? ❤️ They talk about the moments they'll never forget. 😂 The stories they can finally laugh about. 😭 The seasons they wish they could have back. 👨‍👩‍👧 The differences between a mom's perspective and a dad's perspective. 💬 The conversations they wish they'd had sooner. 🙏 And what they've learned about trusting God with their daughter as she becomes her own person. This isn't an episode about perfect parenting. Tracey and Tony didn't have all the answers then—and they don't pretend to have them now. It's simply two parents looking back and realizing that some of the ordinary moments they were rushing through were actually the moments that mattered most. For the mom who's exhausted by the season she's in right now... For the dad wondering whether he's doing enough... And for the parents who can't believe how quickly their little girl is growing up... Don't rush it. Take the picture—but put the phone down too. Have the conversation. Take the trip. Stay at the table a little longer. Say “I love you” again. Because someday you'll look across the table at your spouse and ask: “How did she grow up so fast?” 🎧 Grab your coffee and join Tracey and Tony for a very special Mom to Mom conversation about raising a daughter, marriage, memories, mistakes, and learning to let go. Mom to Mom: “I’ve Always Taken This” — When Was the Last Time You Reviewed Your Medications?

Mom to Mom: “I’ve Always Taken This” — When Was the Last Time You Reviewed Your Medications? How long have you been taking that medication? And when was the last time someone actually stopped and asked: “Do you still need this?” In this personal Mom to Mom episode of the Root Cause Holistic Health Podcast, Tracey Green shares a story about taking her mom to the doctor's office—and a conversation about her medications that made Tracey stop and think. Like so many people, her mom had medications she'd been taking because… well, she'd always taken them. But our bodies change. Our health changes. Our diagnoses change. Other medications and supplements get added. And sometimes the prescription list keeps following us year after year without us fully understanding why each medication is still there. Tracey talks about the importance of becoming an active participant in your healthcare and asking better questions: 💊 Why am I taking this medication? 📅 How long have I been taking it? 🩺 Is it still appropriate for my current health and goals? ⚠️ Could it interact with anything else I'm taking? 📋 Are there medications that were intended to be temporary but became long-term? ❓ What are the risks and benefits of continuing it? 👩‍⚕️ And if something needs to change, what is the safest way to do that with my healthcare provider? This isn't about being anti-medication. And it definitely isn't about throwing away prescriptions or stopping medications on your own. It's about medication awareness. It's about knowing what's going into your body, understanding why you're taking it, and periodically reviewing your complete medication and supplement list with a qualified healthcare professional. Because “I've always taken it” shouldn't be the only reason you continue taking something. Grab your coffee and join Tracey for another real-life Mom to Mom conversation about asking questions, advocating for yourself and your parents, and taking a more active role in your healthcare. Mom to Mom: Stop Shrinking—Live Authentically, Lead Courageously & Change the World

Mom to Mom: Stop Shrinking—Live Authentically, Lead Courageously & Change the World What would your life look like if you stopped trying to become who everyone else expected you to be—and finally had the courage to become who you were created to be? In this deeply personal solo episode of the Root Cause Holistic Health Podcast, Tracey Green sits down for a conversation about authenticity, courage, purpose, and impact. Because changing the world doesn't always start with a platform, a business, or a massive opportunity. Sometimes it starts with having the courage to be fully yourself. Live authentically. Stop editing yourself to make other people comfortable. Stop comparing your life to someone else's highlight reel. Stop allowing fear of judgment to determine who you become. Lead with courage. Leadership isn't about having a title. It's about being willing to go first—to speak when it's easier to stay quiet, make the hard decision, set the boundary, pursue the dream, and stand firmly in what you believe. Change the world. Maybe your "world" is your home. Your children. Your marriage. Your friendships. Your workplace. Your community. You don't have to influence millions of people to make an incredible impact. Sometimes changing one person's world changes generations. In this episode, Tracey talks about: ✨ Becoming comfortable with who you really are💛 Breaking free from comparison and people-pleasing🔥 Choosing courage when fear tells you to stay small🗣️ Finding your voice and being willing to use it👩‍👧 Showing your children what authentic living looks like🌎 Understanding that your everyday choices can create lasting impact🙏 Walking confidently in the purpose God has placed on your life You weren't created to spend your life performing for everyone around you. You were created to live it. So show up as yourself. Say the thing. Take the chance. Love people well. Lead courageously. And never underestimate what God can do through one person willing to live authentically. Live authentically. Lead with courage. Change the world. 🎧 Grab your coffee and join Tracey for a mom-to-mom conversation about becoming brave enough to live the life that's actually yours. Stop Making Everyone Else’s Emergency Yours, Are You a People Pleaser? The Exhaustion of Always Saying Yes

Stop Making Everyone Else’s Emergency Yours, Are You a People Pleaser? The Exhaustion of Always Saying Yes Someone texts—and you immediately respond. Someone needs a favor—and you rearrange your entire day. Someone is disappointed in you—and suddenly you feel responsible for fixing it. Someone else has an emergency—and somehow it becomes yours. Sound familiar? In this honest solo episode of the Root Cause Holistic Health Podcast, Tracey Green tackles something so many women and moms struggle with without even realizing it: People-pleasing. Sometimes what looks like being helpful, dependable, or “the one everyone can count on” is actually an inability to say no without feeling guilty. And eventually, carrying everyone else's expectations, problems, schedules, and emotions can leave you exhausted. Tracey talks about recognizing the patterns: 🚨 Treating someone else's urgency like your emergency💬 Saying yes when you really want to say no😰 Feeling anxious when someone is disappointed with you📱 Believing you have to respond immediately❤️ Taking responsibility for other people's emotions🧠 Constantly worrying about what people think of you🛑 Feeling guilty when you finally set a boundary There's a difference between loving people and rescuing people. There's a difference between being available and always being accessible. And there's a difference between being kind and abandoning yourself to keep everyone else happy. Sometimes the healthiest sentence you can learn to say is: “Your emergency is not automatically my emergency.” That doesn't make you selfish. It means you're learning to recognize what actually belongs to you—and what doesn't. If you're exhausted from being everyone's fixer, helper, peacekeeper, problem-solver, and yes-person, grab your coffee and join Tracey for this mom-to-mom conversation. Stop Editing Your Life: You Don’t Have to Make It Look Perfect

Stop Editing Your Life: You Don’t Have to Make It Look Perfect What if we spent less time trying to make our lives look good… and more time actually living them? The perfect family photo. The clean house. The successful kids. The happy marriage. The vacation pictures. The highlight reel. Somewhere along the way, especially with social media constantly in our hands, it became incredibly easy to start editing our lives for everyone else to see. In this honest solo episode of the Root Cause Holistic Health Podcast, Tracey Green sits down for another mom-to-mom conversation about comparison, perfection, authenticity, and the exhausting pressure to make it look like everything is okay—even when it isn't. Tracey talks about what happens when we start living for the picture instead of the moment. When we compare our real life to someone else's edited version. When we're so worried about how our family looks that we forget to enjoy the family sitting right in front of us. And when "keeping up" quietly steals our peace. This episode is an invitation to stop editing. ❤️ Let your marriage be real. 👩‍👧 Let your kids be imperfect. 🏠 Let your house look lived in. 📱 Put the phone down sometimes. 💬 Have the uncomfortable conversations. 😂 Laugh at the mess. 🙏 Give yourself permission to be in a season that doesn't photograph beautifully. Because some of the most meaningful moments of your life will never make it to Instagram. Your life doesn't need another filter. It needs you fully present in it. 🎧 Grab your coffee and join Tracey for a conversation about letting go of the highlight reel and getting back to a life that's honest, imperfect, messy—and actually yours.
