Hey no simple road . Thank you for all the inspiring stories and great music recommendations. I am an Artist in Maryland. I love the Grateful Dead and all things jam band related. I make tie dye clothing and accessories on the side and work for music city Maryland Association. We organize live music events April through October. Your interviews always inspire me to keep putting positive creative things out into the universe where it is much needed. I’ve been listening for years and hope you all keep going for a long time . Short version: Do you love finding new music, insightful interviews, and deep, cosmic conversation? NSR keeps heads plugged in. Long version I found the Grateful Dead when I was 15, in 1988. They were a light in the very long, dark tunnel of my rough childhood. It was more than the music, it was the community, the conversation, the support. It was that moment a stranger helped me open a sewer grate on a street in Albany, Spring 1990, to rescue my hacky-sack. No Simple Road came to me in Spring 2020, during deep lockdown. Another tunnel, another light. They have brought me so much music I wouldn't have found otherwise. Eggy, Spafford, Karina Rykman, Daniel Donato, Andy Frasco, and the amazing Bear’s Sonic Journals. The interviews and conversations make me laugh, stomp my feet, shake my head and cry. Ms Donna Jean, thinking of you. When I need some practical information, like how to survive the first trip to the Sphere, No Simple Road is my first stop. A few weeks ago I ran into the NSR crew at the Dark Star Orchestra show.
