Awards Interview Special!

It's awards season, so here are some awardsy conversations with awards-worthy people! That's Adrien Brody on 'The Brutalist' in the first half, and then Sean Baker and Mikey Madison on 'Anora'. 'The Brutalist' is, at long last - with emphasis on the word "long" - in cinemas here in the UK, while 'Anora' is available on digital download (the film first came out in November last year). Both are likely to win a fair few awards at the BAFTAs and the Oscars! So if you wanna feel like you're in the loop of award-worthy films, you've come to the right podcast!

Ali Plumb is a bright spot in my day every time I tune in. Seems like the sort of chap you’d love to grab a drink with or have over for a dinner party. Love the variety of guests and the genuine love of movies television. You’ll learn things, be entertained, and come away feeling like you have this friend at BBC 1 you’ve never met and doesn’t know you from Adam.

I love watching good celebrity interviews and Ali really stands out as an interviewer. He does his research, he know his stuff and you can tell he is genuinely interested in Entertainment. Most importantly, he doesn’t waste time trying to get actors to leak information they are clearly under contract to keep secret! Thank you Ali!
