Slim-minded Travel Strategies

The strategies presented in this ep will be traveling with me on my next vacation. So much of the joy of past trips revolved around local food that I needed ideas on approaching new trips with a different mindset. This ep provided a new approach, especially preparing with a vision of what you want to look like at the end of the trip, and what you want your trip to center around. At the very least I can stop the “all or nothing” thinking and “start over”mentality that accompanied previous vacations.

I am so grateful for this episode. I have recently been shamed for the amount of self care and the time it takes!! This just helped me Re affirm how much I need it and that I’m not feeling any shame about it!

I have two sisters ( of the six girls in my family) that are always suggesting podcasts for me to listen to. Most , or I should say ALL of the time they don’t resonate with me. This is the first time I go back and listen again and again to a podcast to pick up on what I missed the first time. I am five months post op With gastric bypass and I am learning so much about myself and what got me to that decision. Thank you Rita Black for your honesty and insight.
