    Ep #291: Redefining Failure

    Ep #291: Redefining Failure

In this episode, I’m talking about everyone’s favorite subject: failure! So often I see people use failure in many different ways to prevent themselves from getting the results they want, and today I’m exploring how we can redefine failure so that it no longer prevents us from moving forward. Listen in as I share how failure can completely shake your identity, what needs to happen to flip the way of thinking about failure to a way that serves you, and why experiencing failure does not negate future success (despite what we’ve all been led to believe).

Ep #290: Your Bigger, Better Future

Let’s talk about the future. For many people, especially over the last several years, thinking about future long-term plans has been difficult, if not downright impossible. If you’ve found yourself living day-to-day, or even hour-to-hour, you are certainly not alone. In this episode, I’m sharing why it’s important to expand your future vision and think longer-term than the next day or week - for your overall happiness and for your weight loss goals.

Ep #289: Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast

Ep #289: Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast

There is a saying that the U.S. Navy Seals use: "slow is smooth and smooth is fast." While weight loss and the military are vastly different topics, in this episode I share how this saying actually applies really well to losing weight permanently and sustainably. Listen in as I explore what this military saying really means, how it relates to weight loss, and how slowing down and building a strong foundation is the key to a much easier weight loss journey.

Life Changing

I am a radiologist and mom in Southern California who has struggled with weight for decades. I am blown away by how profoundly Katrina’s podcast has changed my life. I am losing weight, but more importantly, I have found ease, joy and freedom around food, which brings indescribable peace and happiness to my life. I also apply Katrina’s principles to my work, parenting and marriage, and can’t tell you how much net positive I am experiencing in these arenas. I’d love to work with Katrina some day, but find her tuition to be too steep. So, for now, I will continue to reap the benefits of this wonderful podcast for which I am beyond grateful. Thank you, Katrina, for helping me to finally end the struggle and put food drama in my past. The huge volume of headspace that used to be consumed by food chatter and endless negotiations with my lower brain can now be devoted to meaningful things that bolster my life. What an amazing new way to live. Grateful.

Life Altering…if you’re ready for it

My Doctor recommended this podcast after I spoke to her about premenopause and weight gain. Fully expected to hear things about adjusting my eating to lose weight. Got that and then Dr Ubell hit me with relationship info, how to mind my business, being aware of my thoughts, how I’m the only one that can affect my feelings and I can only control myself. And I’m only on podcast #34. Info I think I’ve heard before BUT something about this makes it relatable and achievable. While listening I cuss her, tell her “no way” and amen almost every odd wife and mom scenario she presents

Truly truly life changing! I look forward learning and growing and sharing this info with friends and family!

Thank you for your work!
