Ep #213: Belief Setpoints
There might be something holding you back and affecting the way you show up in this life that you’re not even aware of: your beliefs. What many of us don’t fully understand is that we can actually limit ourselves with our beliefs because we think we’re telling ourselves the truth about what we believe—whether it’s what our bodies can do, what we can achieve in life, or how much weight we can lose. So in this episode, I’m talking about the concept of belief setpoints and how once we start to realize that our beliefs are putting self-imposed limitations on us, we can shift that mindset and become and achieve more than we could ever imagine.

Ep #212: Reducing Your Drinking with Sherry Price, PharmD
While refraining from alcohol can be the answer for some, it is not the answer for everyone who wants to be mindful of their drinking. Our guest today is Sherry Price, an over-drinking coach who doesn’t focus on urging people to give up alcohol, but instead focuses on teaching them to reprogram their brains to change the desire for alcohol to eliminate the craving. Listen in as we discuss how to move past any shame, uncertainty, or resentment in order to create space for a healthier lifestyle that works for you.

Learning to live with intention
Hi! I’m a family medicine doctor, wife, and mom of 4 and have struggled to stay on top of all the things my brain makes believe I have to keep up with. I went LCHF with IF in 2017 and successfully got to my goal weight in 6 months and felt great and have been maintaining. I’m late to the game listening so I’m still on episode 42 but I am so grateful to you and this podcast (and I honestly feel like we’re old friends)! Now I’m working on changing my thinking about food but also several other aspects of my life like patient care/charting, my personal relationships, social media use, etc. Overall I’m finding when I control my thinking and refuse to allow that toddler with a knife to take over, I have so much more time and energy to do the things that I love, the things that truly fill me up (like loving on my husband and children and giving back to my community). Of course I still struggle at times but now it is easier for me to look at the math and limit the drama and to make choices that align with my goals. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Life changing pod cast!!!
My husband and I are both MDs and have yo-yoed with our eating habits as long as we’ve been married. There is something about the way Dr. Ubell explains things and coaches that is not only completely relatable but also entertaining. My hubby and I love this podcast!
