Ranking Viral Relationship Advice (with Couples Therapist Zach Brittle)

The viral relationship advice that we see on social media is often not the advice that's going to help us the most. In fact, it's often the stuff that goes viral that can cause us more frustration when we try it and it doesn't work. Asking My Husband Questions Women Are Too Scared to Ask

My husband Zack and I answer your most taboo, hard-to-talk-about relationship questions that you feel a little bit of shame or embarrassment talking about with your partner or person you're dating: dry spells, in-laws, prenups, work crushes, and so much more. It's really important to me to take the taboo out of these topics. I’ll share some tips or personal stories that I’ve been through that could help you guys (either in action or just to feel less alone). This is part of a brand new series where I ask my real-life relationships to come on and weigh in on your biggest struggles. Coming up I’ll have myself and my mother-in-law talk through your trickiest mother-in-law issues, and myself and my friend with kids talk through your friendship issues when you’re in different life phases. 🎧 What you’ll learn: • What to do when your partner is hiding their finances • If it’s bad if you have a work crush and what that means for your relationship • What to do when you don’t believe your partner when they say you’re beautiful  • If it’s bad if you’re not having sex and what that means for your relationship • If asking for a prenup (from either side) is offensive • If it’s bad if you’re not close with your in-laws • If there actually is “the one” Ready to uplevel every part of your life? The One Habit That Will Instantly Make You More Likeable

Most of us want more (and better) social interactions, but being more social means more energy. Sometimes it’s easier to just stay home or not talk to someone, even though we KNOW connecting with other people is the best thing for our health and happiness. But what if you knew you’d be liked, have a good time, and a meaningful conversation? My guest today is Dr. Nicholas Epley, one of the most respected behavioral scientists in the world. He's a professor at the University of Chicago, the author of the phenomenal new book A Little More Social, and his research has changed the scientific community. Whether you want to know the one tool that will make you more likeable, how to go from small talk to a meaningful conversation in two questions, why people are getting so bad at asking follow up questions on dates, or why you’re probably not an introvert even if you REALLY think you are, we get into it. 🎧 What you’ll learn: • The #1 thing people actually judge you on and how it removes the fear of social situations • The surprising data that challenges everything you believe about your social battery • How to organically start a meaningful conversation with two questions • Why being an introvert might just be a story you're telling yourself For more from Nicholas Epley: • Website: https://www.nicholasepley.com/  • Book, A Little More Social: https://sites.prh.com/a-little-more-social  • LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicholas-epley/ Ready to uplevel every part of your life?
