Is Perimenopause Starting in Your 30s? With Bria Gadd

Menopause weight loss resistance is often misunderstood as lifestyle failure—but it's really hormonal signaling.     In this powerful conversation, Lisa Fischer sits down with Bria Gadd to unpack the hidden hormonal shifts happening in perimenopause and menopause. They break down why symptoms like heart palpitations, insomnia, brain fog, and sugar cravings often start as early as a woman's 30s—not her 50s.     Bria explains how declining progesterone and fluctuating estrogen act as early warning signals, while Lisa shares her lived experience navigating thyroid dysfunction that conventional medicine initially missed. Together they reveal why standard lab work often fails women and how functional testing like GI-MAP, Dutch hormone testing, and full metabolic blood panels provide a more complete picture.     The conversation also explores estrogen metabolism pathways, gut-liver detox balance, and why hormone replacement therapy—when personalized—can be protective for the brain, heart, and long-term vitality.     👉 Subscribe to the Lisa Fischer Said Podcast, join the newsletter at https://lisafischersaid.com/podcast/, and follow @lisafischersaid for more.     Here's where to find Bria:   Website:  https://www.briatheperiodwhisperer.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BriaThePeriodWhisperer Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bria_period_whisperer/ YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/@bria_period_whisperer Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-period-whisperer-podcast-perimenopause-menopause/id1617315546   Here are more ways you can connect with Lisa:   Website:  https://lisafischersaid.com/ Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/lisafischersaid/ Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/lisafischersaid/ Health Coaching:  https://lisafischersaid.com/healthcoaching/ Lisa Fischer Said Academy:  https://lisafischersaid.com/academy/     Support our wonderful sponsors:   Ralston Family Farms:  https://www.ralstonfamilyfarms.com/ Akel's Carpet One:  https://www.akelscarpetone.com/ David's Beef:  https://davidsbeef.com/ Marlsgate:  https://marlsgate.com     The Lisa Fischer Said Podcast is produced by https://clantoncreative.com/
