Ep. 126: Changing Your Relationship With Problematic Foods (My Story With Cereal)
If you’ve read Brain over Binge, you know how problematic cereal was for me during my dieting and binge eating days. But now, many years after recovery, I don’t eat much cereal at all, and it’s not a struggle to avoid it. I never would have believed that this was possible when I was bulimic, because cereal seemed to control me. Through my story, I want to help you learn to develop a healthy relationship with former binge foods.

Amazing & Life Changing
10/10 Podcast- Only 10 episodes in and this podcast has already helped me tremendously. Thank you for talking about the subjects others don’t!
Horrible advice!
I didn’t make it past 3 episodes! The answer to binge eating is to just stop binge eating?? Wow! I wonder why I didn’t think of that all those times when I’m shaming myself after a binge! I should have just told myself to stop! Duh!
Are these women for real? If it was that easy, don’t you think people would just stop? If that concept wasn’t ridiculous enough, the fact that she says BED isn’t caused by any other issue besides your brain telling you to binge! That might be true for her but the majority of us I bet have gone through some trauma and we have developed a coping mechanism by eating! Cause and effect!! That’s actual science….not this googled info and self superior claim to just waking up one day and stopping because you told yourself to! I came to this podcast in hopes of finding help, but instead I’m leaving feeling worse and the condescending attitude made me feel dumb and like something was wrong with me! Thanks for that!
