    The Myths We Outgrow on the Spiritual Path

    In this episode, Laurie explores a few common myths many of us eventually outgrow on the spiritual path. Spirituality does not guarantee constant happiness, eliminate grief, end suffering, or make our intuition infallible. Spiritual gifts are not the same as emotional maturity, and living in “love and light” does not mean tolerating unhealthy behavior or saying yes to everything. As we grow, these early beliefs are not necessarily proven wrong; they expand and, if we are curious, develop into something deeper, wiser, and more compassionate.
