Ms. Mussels ,

Here for it

Mob Queens is like a mash-up of some of my favorite podcasts- Getting Curious, Nancy, and Stuff You Missed in History Class.

Brilliant and addictive

I can’t stop listening. I’m a mom and I don’t get a lot of time to myself, but today I got to grocery shop alone and hung out in the grocery store parking lot just listening to Mob Queens. So. Freakin. Good!

Intriguing topic but hosts just drags on

Listen, I heard the premise of a mob wife running a drag queen club (from JBU podcast) and I started listening ASAP. There is an interesting premise BUT the hosts fail to deliver on a great story. They drag on about their own speculations, rumors, and sometimes follow up on it, but only after talking about it for minutes at a time... and then sometimes an interesting investigation section, but more speculation convos, and then splitting them up between episodes! It took 3 episodes to conclude about how the first marriages ended! Sometimes the investigation takes time and you don’t have all the facts, but there’s no need to drag on the episodes for the listeners. Feels like 80% of this is the hosts conversing, when I want more story telling about the mob queen! I find myself skipping content a lot :/
