My favorite podcast to learn fun facts

I love this podcast. The things I learn. The people I learn from. The funny side anecdotes from our good old dad. Who knew learning about death and dying could be so uplifting. Who knew the military trained dolphins and seals to go about! More more! I love it all!

One of a kind!

One day, a little over a year ago, I developed an interest in dendrology. I listen to music and podcast on my headphones all day at work, so I decided to try searching for a podcast or youtube lecture on the subject. When I searched in podcasts, I didn't actually expect to find anything that focused on dendrology specifically... but low and behold!! You had an entire episode, basically a one hour crash course on the subject!! It was exactly what I was looking for, and the ONLY dendrology episode. Thank you for going out on a limb and creating such a diverse podcast.
Needless to say, I fell in love with Ologies, and every episode motivates me more to become a scientist. (I'm 30 yrs old and just within the last year decided to become a scientist, and about a year ago I narrowed it down to mycology!)
Your weekly reminder to ask smart people dumb questions fuels my curiosity about the universe.

Also, thanks for cross-pollinating with This Podcast Will Kill You. Between your two podcasts, I get weekly lessons in science, medicine, history, evolution, human culture, and humor, and all from well-spoken people.
