Stephen Dubner (co-author of the Freakonomics book series) and research psychologist Angela Duckworth (author of Grit) really like to ask people questions, and came to believe there’s no such thing as a stupid one. So they made a podcast where they can ask each other as many “stupid questions” as they want. New episodes each week. No Stupid Questions is a production of the Freakonomics Radio Network.

thoughtful & insightful

the conversations I have with friends over wine but more thoughtful and insightful since Angela and Steve are, well, way smarter than us haha. love love love this short form podcast about big questions as a banter between friends. good to bring up the same topics among friends

Negging?

Is it just me or is he constantly slightly negging and teasing her and she’s often uncomfortably and very professionally trying to steer the conversation back to topic? Not that they can’t joke and need to be professional all the time but it’s weirdly one sided, which is a dynamic I can’t stop noticing.

DuPont Auto Finishes

Did Angela’s Father ever meet Jeff Gordon, as DuPont Automotive Finishes was the main sponsor of the number 24 car in NASCAR.
